Favorite Fictional Couples
1) Cat and Bones (Crispin) Russell from The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost- They're unabashedly sexy and love each other. They're willing to do whatever they have to for the other person. I just love their relationship.
2.) Anna Oliphant and Etienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins- I just want to continue reading about their relationship forever. If Stephanie Perkins wrote out every single moment of Anna and Etienne's lives together in a 20 book series, I WOULD READ EVERY SINGLE ONE. Seriously though, those kids need to get married and have the cutest baby ever created and I need to be the one to read about it.
3.) Lola Nolan and Cricket Bell from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins - Same thing as above with Anna and Etienne, I would read about Lola and Cricket's entire lives together, I just love them that much. Plus, I sincerely respect Lola for wanting to make sure she was "the best version of herself" before pursuing a relationship with Cricket.
4.) Dimitri Belikov and Rose Hathaway from The Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead - Rose and Dimitri simply balance each other. They have a natural chemistry that's fun to read about. Admittedly, most of their relationship is a bit tragic, but through everything it is still abundantly clear they were and are in love.
5) Kate Daniels and Curran Lennart from The Magic Bites series by Ilona Andrews - It's simple. They can joke around with each other. That is why I love them. No matter how bad things get, Kate can say one smart-ass comment to make the whole thing seem just a little less horrible for him.
6) Michael Weaver and Emerson Cole from Hourglass by Myra McEntire- I feel a little guilty putting this couple on the list since I do adore them and their smokin' sexy scenes, but I also really, really, really, like way more than I should, want Kaleb and Emerson together too. So, for the moment, I root for Michael and Emerson, but I would not mind Kaleb and Emerson together at all.
7) Mercy Thompson and Adam Hauptman from The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs- They just fit. Adam and Mercy have always seemed more like an inevitability than anything else. Even when Sam was around, there was always a definite pull towards Adam. It just feels like they were circling the issue for three books, Mercy and Adam were always going to be part of each other's lives, they were always going to end up together.
8.) Anna and Charles Cornick from the Alpha and Omega Series by Patricia Briggs- I sincerely believe that I simply like them for the picture they make. Sweet little Anna with her pale skin and whiskey colored hair with huge indian Charles always makes me happy. I also enjoy how they bring out the opposite of each other. Anna brings out Charles' softness, and Charles brings out Anna's crazy fighter side.
9.) Sam Roth and Grace Brisbane from the Shiver series by Maggie Stiefvater- They don't waste their time together. Sam and Grace know with every minute, with every change of temperature, they could lose each other for an unknown amount of time, so they don't waste the minutes they have. Plus they cuddle and kiss a whole bunch.
10.) Usagi Tsukino and Mamoru Chiba (Serena Tsukino and Darien Sheilds) (Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion) from the Sailor Moon manga by Naoko Takeuchi- Usagi and Mamoru are the one couple I have loved all my life. I get vicious if anyone tries to pair them with other people. (Seiya/Serena fandom I am frothing at the mouth because of you.) If I had to choose between letting all of the previously mentioned couples split up forever, or just letting Usagi and Mamoru split, I would make all the other couples split, even Anna and Etienne. Yes, I love them that much.
(The 16th 17th TTT are supposed to be "favorite authors" and "books I'll never read". However since I 1) can't decide on even one favorite author and 2) can't say there are any books I'll "never" read aside from Shore Thing by Snooki or other books of that nature, I'm skipping them both.)
1.) Kaleb Ballard from Hourglass by Myra McEntire- 1) I like tattoos. 2) He's an empath. 3) He is sexy as hell. 4) Are any other explanations really needed here?
2.) Sam Cornick from the Mercy Thompson Series by Patrica Briggs- I honestly don't know why. I just really love Sam. He's got that poet's soul, gentle hands, inner pain, and killer looks combination that makes me swoon. Plus he has a good sense of humor and hides his controlling nature very well.
3.) Bran Cornick from the Mercy Thompson/ Alpha and Omega Series by Patricia Briggs- Another inexplicable attraction. Bran simply rocks. He's manipulative, but usually for good reasons, he's intelligent, he's powerful, has a beautiful voice and speaks welsh. Yes, who in their right mind finds a man who speaks a language that sounds like elvish, unbearably sexy? Apparently I do.
4.) Christian Ozera from the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead- To put it simply, he's a loner and a smart-ass. I adore that combination in anyone.
5.) Jesse Rose from A Rose for Melinda by Lurlene McDaniel - My first ever fictional crush (with the possible exception of Rhys from The Two Princesses of Bamarre). He was the sweetest and most understanding kid alive. My heart bled for him when he lost Melinda. I wanted to hug him and make it all better.
6.) W.W. Hale the Fifth from the Heist Society series by Ally Carter - He's a rich smart-asss who can pull of a heist. You know, I'm starting to notice a pattern here.
7.) Thomas Argeneau from the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands - He messes with Bastien and Luceren which makes me love Thomas by default, since they're so serious in comparison. I also really like his bond with Lissianna, I'm a sucker for childhood friends who look out for each other. He's a good big brother type.
8.) Jerricho Barrons from the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning- The constant jackass. The very, very sexy and sexual jackass. When he walks into a room, all women and some men think about is how fast they can get him undressed and if having sex on a table is considered inappropriate under the circumstances. I love the way he doesn't feel like a man. He's more like a force of nature. He can make you do anything and everything he wants you to.
9.) Marc Ramos from the Stray series by Rachel Vincent- Big, strong, dependable guy who has been in love with the same girl since he was ten. He's so sweet and considerate to Faythe even after her many huge screw-ups. He's like a huge cuddly teddy bear with big dangerous claws.
10.) Shane Collins from the Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine - True, he is a pretty boy with an attitude problem, which is not unique. However, I love the way he makes Claire feel. He is a pain in the ass, no question about it, but he does try to do right by Claire, which I appreciate.
Honorable Mention: R from Warm Bodies by Issac Marrion
