The Time has Come, the Walrus Said, to Talk of Many Things...

It's not sails and ships and sealing wax or cabbages and kings.

Now is the time to get back to our favorite mystery, "what really happened to Davis Morgenstien?" If you've been keeping up with the Society Twins, you know Sophie's been a busy bee. She's uncovered some clandestine information about her late brother. She's also gotten a crossword puzzle in the mail from Davis which leads to a secret website with more information. (Sylvie on the other hand is feeling left out and seriously hurt by all of these secrets, maybe it would be a good idea to drop by the society twins and say a few kind words to her. Simply give her some reassurance that she's not alone in this.)

So, I've taken to snooping. The extremely active facebook page for nexus humanus is a bit much for me to keep up with. There are some great sleuths (oh my god, who uses that word anymore?) over on the facebook page, but I prefer solitary research.

A mysterious person, calling himself or herself Lear from BZRK, emailed me with very sensitive information. It was... illuminating, to say the least. (My mind control bugs weren't too far off the mark.) Anyhow, the name of a company happened to pop up in these files, The Armstrong Fancy Gifts Corporation. Me, being a nosy person, googled the name. I found the book. Yes, the book that Michael Grant is writing about these strange puzzles. Here is the book description (sorry, no cover yet.)

Set in the near future, a conspiracy is afoot to create a perfect and perfectly controlled world. The Armstrong Fancy Gift Corporation is a front for the conjoined Armstrong twins, Charles and Benjamin, and the plot to create their own version of utopia.

A shadowy guerilla group known as BZRK form a nascent resistance movement. Both sides develop sophisticated nanotechnology to achieve their goals:

-The Armstrong twins develop the nanobot, a stealth device that latches onto the brains of unsuspecting citizens

-BZRK's DNA-derived biots are deployed to search out and destroy the insidious bots.  If biots are destroyed, the brain cells of their DNA-donor also die.  Hence the name BZRK.

This is most of the information which was revealed to me in the files, but they took it a step further with pictures and talks of destiny.

Do all of you remember the article I posted on the death of a McLure Industries employee? If not, here's a refresher, Link. In reading this super secret file from Lear, I discovered that a man named Dr. Karl Burnofsky developed the nanobot for the Armstrong Twins. However, the most important piece of information in these files was on something called a brainwave interceptor developed by McLure Industries. (Anyone think Katsumoto Hasemi was working on this project?) This brainwave interceptor, along with doing a bunch of other things I do not understand, can sense and locate the biot pilots. In other words, should this technology fall into the wrong hands, all BZRK affiliates will be in danger of losing their minds.

It's really too bad the device has been lost, don't you think?

From what I can tell 2 major groups are vying for this interceptor. The Armstrong twins, to get rid of all people loyal to BZRK. BZRK wants it in order to save their own behinds. Nexus Humanus, I can guarantee, wants their hands on those nanobots, if they don't have them already. The Shadow Gang... well they still haven't made any of their aims clear. At this point they could really help or really hurt any of the operations. The trick is going to be to find out which one.

(In this super secret file there were pictures, many of them strange and inexplicable. One though, had a man on a stretcher. The man looked dead or asleep. He also looked extremely like Davis. Does anyone know if Davis had a tattoo on his upper left arm?)

That's all I know for now, promise to keep all of you updated when I get more information.

Happy Reading,
