In My Mailbox (7) May to August

I'm so sorry to all of the subscribers on my youtube channel! I warned everyone that I would not be updating IMM frequently because I couldn't afford to buy books that often. Well, let's just say that plan went to hell in a hand basket on a road paved with good intentions. Unfortunately, I still didn't do videos for the books I got and as the stacks got higher and higher, my will to go on camera got lower and lower. Recently I tried to brave my youtube audience again only to find out my voice recorder is on the fritz. (It's fine for the first couple of seconds, but then it distorts my voice like an anonymous victim on TV. Plus, the video quality was so horrible I couldn't even watch it. My lips didn't even sync with the words.)

Therefore, because of all the mentioned problems above, until I am able to get either a camcorder or a new laptop, all videos are out. (Even the amazing book tour I had planned for all of you is a no go.) Since I didn't want to completely abandon IMM though I've decided to start taking pictures instead as a substitute.

Warning: These were taken with my camera phone so they are blury. I tried to sharpen them as best as I could in my paint program.

Without further ado, here are all of my book purchases in the past 4 months.

The complete collection of Sarah Dessen Books:

What Happened to Goodbye
This Lullaby
The Truth About Forever
Someone Like You,
That Summer
Just Listen
Keeping the Moon
Lock and Key
Along for the Ride

Things of note: I got 6 or 8 of these books from a discount Ebay book seller for under 30 dollars including shipping. Here is the link to her ebay store Children's Book Adventures, the lady has amazing deals.

SARAH DESSEN HAS ONLY WRITTEN 10 BOOKS. Some of you might be going "duh" but bear with me. What I didn't know was the book Keeping the Moon is the same as Last Chance so DO NOT buy both of them. The same goes for How to Deal, that is a omnibus of Someone Like You and That Summer.

Here are all of the regular YA books I bought:

Wither by Lauren DeStefano
Warm Bodies by Issac Marrion
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton
Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready
Ripple by Mandy Hubbard
Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce
The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross
Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs
Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys
Uncommon Criminals (Heist Society #2) by Ally Carter
Hourglass by Myra McEntire
The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab
The Liar Society by Lisa and Laura Roecker
The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
Abandon by Meg Caobt
Forever by Maggie Stiefvater
The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine.

These are the Adult books I bought:

Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse # 11) by Charlaine Harris
In the Dark of Dreams (Dirk & Steele #10) by Marjorie M. Liu
Magic Slays (Magic Bites #5) by Ilona Andrews
Stolen (Women of the Otherworld #2) by Kelley Armstrong

33 books in 4 months... that's about 8 or 9 books a month. I really need to slow down. At this rate I'll be one poor, poor college student by the time spring semester rolls around.

Happy Reading,
