Fan Letter Friday (7) Triple Edition

This is fan letter friday. All the time I see nice, special, kind and good authors on twitter, facebook, their own blog, etc. that I make friends with or follow on accident and I adore them. I like them as more than authors. I like them as people. So, I decided, since I don't have time to review every single book these people have written, I'm going to write to them. I am going to flaunt my love for them all over the internet and hopefully brighten their day. I am going to sound, insane, rambly and possibly like a stalker, but that's just part of the fun right?

Dear Victoria Schwab, (The Near Witch, The Archived

I liked your book even before I read it. I saw the title on goodreads and thought it would be interesting. I saw the cover mock-up a few weeks later and resolved that I would have that pretty book. A month or two later I saw you in Jackson Pearce's videos from Branson and I worried for your safety if the authors turned cannibals. (Good thing the snow cleared up, huh?) Finally The Near Witch was put on NetGalley and I was beyond ecstatic to read it. I waited for maybe a month and a half for that request to clear, checking nearly every week. After all of this build up and wanting this book so badly, I was finally able to read it.

I stayed up till 3am reading the entire thing on my computer.

Since reading The Near Witch I have decided to stalk you via the internet, and take every single opportunity I get to meet you at events. (Don't worry, I mean no harm. I'm very unobtrusive and nice.)

I love your book so, so much and I cannot wait until it hits the stores and I can buy a finished copy. I'm also very excited to read your new book The Archived when it becomes available. I wish I could go on for about three pages for how much I enjoyed The Near Witch. However, I'm fairly certain you'd get sick of me very quickly and I haven't posted a review for it... yet. When I write it, I'll allow myself to fangirl  like a rabid and spastic squirrel but for right now I'll remain calm and somewhat professional.

Sadly, I think I've run out of things to talk about. Oh well, at least I know you're busy being sad over the end of Harry Potter, like me and the rest of the world. I mean it's just so sad it's over. I loved the buzz of sitting in the theater with everyone waiting for the magic to start. In that instant everyone is connected by the wide-eyed enthrallment of watching the story come to life. I'm going to miss that. As well as the immediate urge to type out a story full of magic once the movie is over.

It was very nice writing this fan letter to you. I might do one again at a later date. I hope your day is going well and is filled with magic.

By the way, I hysterically love your wordpress layout. It is so very pretty. Your author picture is also very lovely.

Love,
